David Bailey Ross (b 1979)

Is a Scottish artist, living and working in London.
He attended Central Saint Martins School of Art, graduating in 2001 with a BA in fashion design, womenswear.

David has worked as a visual artist, designer and creative director across a range of mediums including fashion, graphic design, video, photography and music.

More recently, David has focused on painting; his ongoing series ‘HEAD’ is an exploration of the human condition with a particular focus on themes of subversive beauty and self-expression.

In 2023 he was commissioned by Madonna to create portraits for her worldwide Celebration Tour. Working directly with Madonna, he produced over 20 portraits depicting her Iconic looks from throughout her career. The original works are now part of Madonna’s private collection.
