This artwork is from the series ‘Untitled Coordinates’, a collection of film photography by Rune Sonnoville that is in response to a common misconception about Ibiza, many people know the island as a party paradise, but with this photographs, Rune wants to challenge this - One could say that only about 20% of the Island is party-related, while the rest is filled with breathtaking locations that never fail to leave her in awe.
‘Time and time again, the Island surprises me this its raw beauty and depth. That's why this series has no name - only coordinates. It's an invitation, not a statement. Only those truly drawn to the essence of the image will feel compelled to explore the location themselves!’
