Kara Marshall’s imaginative, playful designs are inspired by 70s pop culture, Western movies, vintage pornography, galloping horses, and cowboys are beautifully translated into distinctive paintings.

Marshall’s work situates itself naturally within the island’s evolving contemporary art landscape, where hedonism, mythology, and reinvention converge. Her practice resonates with Ibiza’s own cultural rhythm: sensual, rebellious, and endlessly self-defining.
Her subjects are self-possessed and expressive, challenging ideas of femininity, power, and representation. Recurring motifs, particularly horses, echo themes of strength, freedom, and independence.
