Aline de Laforcade

Aline de Laforcade is a self-taught fiber artist and weaver whose work explores the tactile dialogue between raw materials and intuitive craftsmanship. Working on a traditional frame loom, she embraces a slow, organic process that allows her to respond directly to the textures and forms of the materials themselves. Born in Beirut and raised across multiple continents, Aline’s global upbringing informs a practice rooted in movement, memory, and material culture. Now based in Ibiza, she draws inspiration from the island’s natural environment and architecture, weaving together tradition and modernity with a distinctly personal touch. Her pieces often blur the lines between art and artifact—elegant, textural compositions that feel both timeless and contemporary. Each work is a quiet reflection on place, process, and the beauty of imperfection.

Inbetween Ibiza is currently exhibiting Aline de Laforcade’s work at The Giri Café, where her woven pieces harmonize with the natural, serene setting of the space.
